The Clouser Minnow is one of the most prolific streamers fished in both salt and fresh water. It was introduced to the Bow River many years ago and has steadily produced both quantity and quality. This is a fly that should be in every fly fishers fly box.

From here you may access pages on flies and fly tying. The Hatch Chart lists flies fished on the Bow River and the Fly Tying section has detailed information on the art of fly tying. Whether you are a novice or a more advanced fly tier visit these pages for tips from well know fly tier AK Best as well as rotary fly tying tips from Tom Cutmore. Also included are pages on my "Dirty Dozen Flies" and an article on rotary vise comparisons. This article compares several different rotary vises, both advantages and deficiencies.
